Thanks for posting a photo of how you've mounted the tail on your 'Cuda. I've found that screws are much better for mounting the rears on the HPI 'Cuda & HPI Mustangs if you are going to be racing the body. My experience with good double sided tape is that it either doesn't hold well or holds so well that it pulls the paint off the body.

On my latest HPI 'Cuda body I used drywall mesh tape & Liquid Nails (similar to Shoe Goo but isn't as flexible when dry/cured). Here is a link to the Liquid Nails website for additional information http://liquidnails.com/products/prod...p?productId=74

Here is a picture of the inside rear of my body. This car has about 3 weeks of racing and has already been battle tested with good results.
