Tekin 550 5.5 or 4.5
So I went ahead and ordered my RX8 today and have decided I want to also go with the Tekin SC4X 550 Motor. I run a track at my local hobby shop where the longest staright is probably 35 feet long and it has multiple jumps that require a quick boost of torque, BUT I would also like to try racing on some 1/8 scale courses this summer with my truck so I need a motor that can handle both if possible. I would love to have the option to run 3S but if having a 4.5T motor is a better choice for what I would like it for then so be it. So my question is..... what would be better for this truck and for what I would like to use it for while hopefully keeping my temps low and having speed on tap. What are the benefits of a 4.5T and 5.5T and is one better to go with than the other? I would love opinions from people who have run this setup if possible.
