Default reply to stock SCT

I am new to RC and when i found out it was pretty hard for a new racer to handle a gas truggy on the track, i stepped down to the Stock 2x4 SCT class. I had fun. Then I noticed people making changes that where not part of the kit. metal spur gears, metal hubs, servos, motors. I was like... WTF!! this is not stock. I recently sold my perfectly fine 2x4 slash to get a new Losi 2x4 SCT RTR. Cause I cant make it keep up, and the Losi kit seems to be better. It has Aluminum shocks, nice bow tie looking treads in a soft compound, 12T brushed motor, and more adjustments for the suspension. Now is this still legal? It was $219.00 RTR SCT 2x4 kit.

My opinion of the Stock 2x4 SCT rules:

1: Must be a brushed 2x4 RTR SCT kit with no aftermarket upgrades.
2: No modification of the a arms, or chassis or any other part of the vehicle. Except, battery and motor connectors.
3: Tires: can only run tires that come stock on a RTR 2x4 SCT kit from any manufacturer. This will even the playing field.
4: 2S 5000 50c max battery. No bigger not even during time trials.
