Its a Dell Inspiron 8100. The memory is max, and it is running Windows XP but with service pack 2. If I add service pack three, it will increase the size of the OS by nearly double. I have no extras at all, no anti virus etc. It doesn't connect to the internet so Im not worried about virus's. Think it has 25 running processes at the most. This is our dedicated laptop.

The CPU has a hard time with the entire system. Ive been thinking, most desktop computers still have the serial port, that may be my only way out, short of someone writing a usb driver for windows 7 64.
