I guess the lesson here is to not take anything as final, unless shane or I confirm it with Simon.

As for the crank, with physical inspection, its either harder, polished, coated, or a combination. Although the intake and intake duration timing on the crank may be the same -I do not have the tools to measure this- the leading edge counterweight is a bit different than the GX. The overall shape is quite similar to the gx, and I can see how a lot of parts will retrofit.
