Bumpsteer is primarily created by suspension geometry. IE: You go over a bump, one of your front wheels rises, potentially 'steering' one or both of your wheels.

Chatter while cornering can be created by many things. First thing in a FWD mini: are you running universal joints or dogbones on your front axle? Dogbones will cause chatter while cornering.

After that, play with springs, look for excessive slop in the front end...maybe the tire are too spongy?
