You need LIPos that are the same shape as a stick pack.

The brick style lipos don't fit properly unless you dremel the chassis and put some packing in the tub to stop them from hitting the shaft.

The standard steering has a bit of slop in it but it's hardly a problem considering the cars market segment.

If you want the bling though pay the extra for the TRF/Tamiya parts - they are a lot better.
