You stock shocks will fit fine. You may have bought the wrong towers. My Max Velocity Front Tower has 8 possible positions to mount the front shocks onto. Good Luck!
He got the 1st version of the shock tower, he needs to get a hold of Max Velocity and they will replace it for free with the updated version. More than likely he bought it from a hobby shop that just wanted to get rid of it instead of actually helping a customer.
