I had lower temps so I was able to bump up to a 30 tooth pinion and got a bit more speed out of it. all in all I will be running only viper for electric.
I just recieved a 8th scale motor and will have everything installed in my losi tekno conversion in the next few weeks and will be testing them on 22 volts!!!!!
cant wait!
Just curious,, i run a cougar also,, my normal gearing for a 10.5 was 26/81,, since i had no other options at the track for spur gears when the motor was handed to me to test,, i went with 28/ 81 which was the max i could squeeze in there,, are you running a modified topshaft or did you find spurs that work with the stock topshaft??
