I am running 28/75 right now. It seems to be good to me, but I really don't have any idea what good is.
My temps this weekend were about 125 degrees at the end of the can. I noticed that the truck is not as punchy or as strong around the 7-10 minute mark as it is when it first hits the track. Is that normal? Like I said I am new to electric.

I used to run 28/75 on with no timing with a Novak SSPro motor (30 deg base timing). Adding timing to this gearing increased my temps too much. This is a FDR of 6.96 which is very low. What ever gearing you choose you will have to adapt timing to the temperature of the motor. If you have a Novak motor then you can capture the temps in the Kinetic and read them with Novalink. This works so well for me that I don't even use my temp gun anymore.
