New to RCTech but not to forums by any means..
Anyway.. I just purchased my 1st 4wd nitro buggy... To date myself.. Years ago I bought the 1st gold tub RC10 at our LHS in my home town..
Long story short...For X-mas this year.. we purchased me a Savage X 4.6 RTR & my 9 year old step-son a brushless Slash 4x4.. went to the local track & my truck is too big & too fast as we only really have SCT here.. So I bought i BRAND NEW (used it was never started) OFNA Hyper 7 TQ black.. After busing my knuckles getting it started & still fighting it for tuning (it's a little more sensitive than my Savage) I am VERY impressed with this RTR car for the $200 I spent on it.. I have read through all the forums & said these are only good for bashing.. but it has everything I was looking for to have fun with my step-son at the local track..
I will be buying a roller here shortly.. & start building a "race" buggy.. but for the $200 I spent.. I will "RE" learn how to race while building a kick a$$ buggy for later.. then when he is ready (or even wants to) he can learn on the "POS"(as many have said about it?) Hyper TQ.. Myself, I give it 2 big thumbs up for a perfectly able, trackable buggy...
