There is a guy at my track that uses carbon fiber "spacers" when going from truggy to buggy. They pivot under the alignment posts and he just swings them out of the way to go back.

(I hope this is making sense) The front posts don't move, they are shared between the two. When it is time to go to buggy he loosens the back posts and swings a spacer 180° and retightens the post to fit the buggy. It's pretty slick. For some reason I can't get mine to lineup right to do that. Maybe it's because I run a BCE truggy chassis
