I've broken one right graphite and one normal plastic c-hub and didn't feel any difference in durability. The plastic one are cheaper of course...
I'm only racing stock with my bd5w and had some pretty bad crashes with some barriers or other cars and 2 c-hubs were the only parts that broke.
Usually I'm racing 1:8 nitro buggy in the summer and the bd5 is only my winter training car.
I thought these electric sedans are weaker but its holding up very good and all the spare parts i purchased will probably never be used. (Maybe if you race modified and you have some really bad ass crash you''ll need them...)
