Just a little FYI....I broke mine in the WOT method. Keep in mind, this was with everything set really fat and plenty of lubrication. This has been in some motor instructions that I have gotten with other motors. It is recommended in order to clean out the lubricants the factory puts in at the time of assembly. If you do it the way I did, the motor is over 200 (with heat) and the WOT is set rich enough that tank of fuel only last about 3 minutes.
I have over five gallons and not the first issue. I have yet to open up the motor.
However, JJenkins broke his in like Jaz240. I do not think that he has quite as much fuel on his, but he has no issues and has yet to open up his motor.
I would say that either method works very well. Some of the pros that I have heard doing the WOT are doing this without the motor being excessively fat because they are in a bind and need to race. I do think that this should only be done if you have to.
Since I said all of this, I am not a pro, mechanic, engine specialists, etc....so do not take my advice. LOL
Glad to hear everyone is liking the motors so far.
