Ok... i went through the menu and restored everything to default.... i also linked the 2 together numerous times and still cant get it to work.... but I'm wondering about something....

the transmitter is part #2242 which is just a traxxas 2.4ghz remote, and the reciever is part# 2218 traxxas link.... are these 2 not compatable because one is traxxas link and one is not?.......
