I asked about the ex5 for a friend on a tight budget. I have an old helios special edition that I dont use anymore, maybe I will give it to him.

I tried the module from my euros in the helios and it wouldnt work. Should it work? I used to run a sprectum mudule in that radio, any advantage in speed by switching to the KO module?
