#1) You want to gear it up on your pinion (more teeth) one at a time until you get the speeds you are looking for and it makes sense temp wise. If your not getting the top speeds you used to get, re-calibrate your ESC, check for any kind of binding in your drive line. Putting on new a-arms and shocks should have nothing to do with your top speeds, if it does it would be minute at best, nothing really noticable.

2) This could be a few reasons: You might need to adjust your slipper, softer rear springs will give you the squat it needs to dig in, if theres enough power (which there is) it's still going to lift the front end up easily. Did you change your shock oil and pistons to go with the new shocks that is compatable with this rig? If the oil is too light or the piston holes are too big for the WT oil in there, you will have a bouncy rear end.
