Your only chance is a reverse drill bit; you chuck the bit into a drill, and drill into the broken screw (or in this case, shock shaft) and when it catches, it threads it right out. You can buy them at hardware stores.

where can I buy this drill bit. Is there a bit small enough to remove the broken shaft? If its price is the same as a new one i'll probably buy the drill bit since I might use it again in case I break something again. thnx
