But what is supporting the bearing? I understand you can captivate the bearings and keep them inside the 2 diff supports, but something needs to support the bearing. If you flip the motor mount around and there is no place for the bearing to sit in what supports it?
I guess I'm unclear what a cap joint is.
If you flip the diff support and motor mount facing opposite of how they usually are that would move the distance between the two bearings, and the bearings on the diff can't be adjusted to account for that.
Maybe a picture would help me understand? I may just be missing something here.
