I thought about buying a GTP2e vs. my conversion and for me one main factor in deciding to do a conversion is that I already had a whole parts roller plus tons of other spares, and I can keep using those instead of starting with a different vehicle and having no parts.

All the tires and wheels I've seen on IGT Hobbies are 1/8 (Kyosho, Ofna, and Sweep)
