You do need to keep a little closer eye on your shock and make sure to put fresh bladders in pretty often, but it really isn't that bad. If you're maintaining your shocks how you should anyway you won't have any problems. Well worth it IMO.
I agree with Jammin. I've been running the modded shocks for a while now and it has been one of the best things I have ever done to the truck. The shocks stay MUCH more consistent. I have never had a bladder rip either.
