Yes, the RX8 is the way to go with the larger 550 motors. I have tried an RS pro and two caps on it in my Hyper 10, and it thermals. If you must run the RSpro and a 550 motor, the only thing left is lowering the current limit and a cooling fan. When I tried the RSpro on Hyper 10, I didn't lower the current limit or try a fan, but I have got the RSpro working so far in my TT with a bitchen Tekin 6.5 and the TT2277 rotor, and so far its getting warmer than I like, and almost thermalled, but not yet. Current limit is at 90% and the TT only weights 4.97lbs. Warm weather might cause it to go over the edge, but I will have this truck lighter by then. The heavier the vehicle, the more the current draw, so you are welcme t try it, but yu will be happier with the RX8, its bulltet proof.
