Not really. The RC8Be is a pretty tough buggy! the only recomendation i would make is change the plastic wing supports to the blue aluminum ones found on the RC8B and make sure you threadlock them. also be sure to threadlock the 2 screws that hold the steering hubs on.
A good upgrade is the 1.1 Tapered shock pistons either the 10 hole or 8 hole with 35 shock oil all the way around. for rough tracks i would keep 35 in the front and drop the rear to 30wt.
