Default Rear Shocks

I run a plastic spacer on the shock shaft between the body and the shock end. if you push the shaft all the way up the piston will come out of the shock body. which will obviously hit the bladder under full compression when assembled. I use the white plastic spacer from between the o-rings, ream it(4mm) out so it slides smoothly. that will limit the travel so it won't blow the bladder. Some will say the shock cant travel that far on landings but it's the crashes that will over compress any shock.

As far as the vented caps, I too, didn't like them at first but now after using them and getting them properly set-up, I wouldn't run anything else. Shocks are easier to build and vehichles seem more consistent and the shocks seems to last longer between rebuilds.
