Ya wierd!! I find it frustratingly *slow* with a diff too!
Its as if there's no punch out of the corners, no fun at all.

I have no explanation for it. I have tried many combinations of
tight front, loose back diff and viceversa, still no cigar.
(even wierder, I retrofitted oneway to a TA04 but it didn't
give it any extra punch like it does to an EvoIII)

I like the oneway better.
(Handbrake turns thru tight corners is handy sometimes too!!)

Stripping never stranded me in a race ever, so I don't have
any hard feelings about the diff gear. I open the front gearbox
every so often just to have a checkl if there's any dented teeth
I clean them up with the knife and reinstall it. I'd only replace
the whole gear when there's like 10-12 teeth gone, or more
than 3 in a row.

My twin-diff EvoIII is doing drift duty now.
The other grip racers run oneways.
