At MARCCA's January board meeting the following were discussed:

- The club's financial report was given and accepted.
- The dates for the Monroe/MARCCA challenge were given. 1-29 in Madison, and 2-5 in Monroe. Proposed start time was 10 a.m. Class rules were still in negotiation due to the separate clubs' structures.
- Capital City Carpet Challenge was scheduled for 2-19-11. Start time would be 10am.
- Election results were accepted. The club welcomes new board members Chris Lewis and Walt Zweifel.
- The introduction of a third class was proposed and accepted with the possibility of modifying in the future. The new class now expands both stadium truck and SCT to 3 skill levels. Sportsman is designated for new drivers who have no or minimal experience racing. Open is now the class "in between". Super is the top tier class designated for drivers with exceptional skill and experience.
- Track repair day is scheduled for 1-15 @ 9am. All members are encouraged to attend and bring staple guns to help recarpet jumps and make track repairs.
- The length of the qualifying heats and mains was also discussed. The board decided to accept Walt's idea of making all qual. heats 6 min. for all classes. Mains would be altered to the following. Sportsman mains are 6 min, Open mains are 7 min and Super mains are 8 min. This proposal was to be tried that night and comments from members are strongly encouraged concerning the new class structure and length.
