I've never seen anyone blow one up, or have even heard of one being blown up locally. Seen it on youtube! Don't know if my M-06 will be fast or not for at least a week or two. Damned theatre season! (I actually really enjoy live theatre and January is the busiest month here.)

I found that mine is a little crunchy as well, but figure it will work itself out after a few laps. Isn't the ball diff for the 05 and 06 the same? They use the same gear diff.gears and everything else.
EDit: Confirmed. Tamiya lists the M-05 ball diff for the M-06 as well. You could also use the old TA-03 ball if you want to.
