Good Morning Guys:.. well lot of activity on this thread last night. I will say it was NOT Timezone that requested the 21.5 TC class, but supported ROAR decision, gives the medium level TC racer two classes to run... Also stock 17.5 here is still only 1 to 1-1/2 laps off Mod TC..... and still within a sec of the WGT cars... again pretty sporty...
Alright ready to drop the other shoe, and announce the Spec Tires for the Event:
All Touring Car Classes shall run the Jaco Blues Rubber Tires, Maximum (4) set's per class, $26.00 each set. race tires must be purchased at the track.
WGT Class shall run the CRC Lilac Compound Foam Tires, Maximum (4) sets per Driver, $28.00 each set. Race tires must be purchased at the track.
The official Traction Compound for this event will be Corally "Jack the Gripper"
$10.00 per can.
We want to give a big thanks to the manufactures who have really stepped up to help us put the event on.
Thanks to Jack Rimer with Jaco Tires, Frank Calandra with CRC, and Rob Michaels at Corally USA/ Specialized RC for really stepping up. We have quite a bit of Class Sponsors and Event Title Sponsor to announce next week...
PS: If there are any drivers planning on attending which would require wheel chair access, please send us an e-mail and we will make sure you are accomodated. We have a 60" phenmatic lift that I am sure Rick can work his magic on and provide great access for those drivers.
