Def wait until you hear back from the retailer on whether you have warranty support or maybe some kind of crash based discount for a new one.

Some of these hard cases can be difficult to get into, depends on how agressive the manufact was in glueing or taping the lipo cells to the hard cases. I doubt it would be diff once inside to repair the damaged wiring, but getting there may be the issue. The one thing you can't let happen is puncturing the lipo cell membrane. Once that happens, that cell is compromised.

I've seen some cells from a hard case that were badly accordioned from a crash and damaged. This could be just be damaged.
