My dad proved to me that a slightly "older" Tamiya car (ie: 414 MII) can still outhandle 9/10 of the cars out there even if its not Tamiyas newest car
Just hang with the latest tech you can afford until you have the cash and/or need newer tech.
You do realize that some of these people bought it just to complete their collection, right?
