But one set of numbers are single digits and the other set are all 2 digit numbers, so given the multipliers, you know which scale has to be which. 70C is way too low of a temp for a soldering iron, that has to be 700F which makes more sense.

If the station came from a comuntry using Celius, maybe that scale is right? They just did the C to F conversion wrong...?
