For those asking for set-ups and are curious about the development/testing status, here's a snapshot of where we're at for indoor med bite clay:
Front
Red Spring, 4 hole #55, 25wt, location is #2 (middle tower), middle arm
Long front camber link with 2mm under front bulk head
zero toe
-1 degree camber
2mm bump steer at spindle
25 degree kick
Ride height 24mm
Rear
Yellow Spring, 4 hole #56, 20wt, location is #2, inside
Short link (#2, E, which is outer middle row of hub holes) w 1mm washer at hub
Low Roll Center 3.5 Degree tow rear pivot. (4.0 degree roll center comes stk in kit)
2.5 degree anti squat
Hubs 1mm forward of middle
Battery forward
Items of interest:
The rear pivot width is narrower than previous XXX and wider than BK2, therefore, slightly stiffer spring needed (Yellow)
The car really seems to like a good amount of camber gain in the rear, and
only a slight bit in the front.
The speed the car carries through corners is incredible and is very noticeable.
20 degree kick with 10 degree spindle carriers seems well suited for higher grip tracks. the 25 degree kick yields more consistent grip. We are offering 0, 3, 5 and 10 degree spindle carriers along with 20, 25 and 30 degree kick options.
That's all for now! I hope everybody had a great Christmas and thanks for all the interest in the the car and TLR!
