+1 ... they are very close IMO the GX5 and Green head Alpha are probably the two best buggy engines in that price range IMHO. it just all about which power plant you like more. the GX5 has a little more bottom than the Green head Alpha but the Green head Alpha has a little more top. i owned the Green head and loved it, it was a great engine. ran a bunch of GX5s because i was going to switch to GO but in the end i went with the TQ engine.
