Chris goes well with his Tekin, I never got one because the programming seems like a hassle. I've done well with a plain old LRP SPX. I'm sure the SXX stock spec is even better. That said, if you're comfortable with the Novak, I have a lot of respect for Bob and his products. If the Kinetic 2S works for you I'm sure the 1S will too. Check the Kinetic thread for more feedback.
