It actually causes the motor not to be level with the chassis and the mount screws bind in the mount I'd buy another Elite mount but they've been out of stock for some time and I can't get anyone from that company to respond to emails or posts on this site.

I've been looking at the Team Grid motor mounts for the Associated RC8/T and I think I'd need to go with the mount that has the inner shaft support because I currently run a 20t pinion on my RC8Be. Does the Team Grid motor mount hold the motor high enough off the chassis so the motor doesn't touch or bind? From the pictures though, I can't determine how the pinion mesh is set. I don't see where this mount has the adjustment. Can someone explain?
There is a video on post#64 that shows the motor installation and mesh set up. Our website also has the same video.

The motor is 8mm above the chassis.
