I don't know if your charger is updatable or not. Even if it is, it's not likely a firmware update is going to increase its power or max charge rate. Thats usually goverened by the hardware inside teh charger and ratings of the various components.

There is nothing wrong with the charger as far as charging 5600 or 6000mah lipos. You are simply limited to 5amps and charging will just take a little longer.


You've basically outgrown the charger, especiall if your lipos are rated for higher than 1C charging and you'd like to take advantage of that.
