if you feel the bottom started lacking half way into the race is because the TOP was a tad LEAN
....remember to fine tune for RACING,you want to run about 2 full tanks through it, THEN start fine tuning it...this way you saturate the chassis with heat and all components that are gonna hold heat....thats why your tune changes halfway through the race( or even at half a tank)
