Viper 17.5 report.
ran brand 'a' motor in practice and first heat to set a base geared at 3.52 using a SP lpf 2.0 esc on 508 software spec no timing.
fast lap of 9.33 over all 37 laps at 6.08.14
the only change made to the car was dropping in the viper 17.5 timing set at 45 degrees
fast lap of 9.07 over all 38 laps at 6.03.09, it was a better run overall, less mistakes, but power so super smooth and it pulled outta the hole great. high temp was 174 after 6 minutes with no fan.
round three, dropped 2 teeth, and turned the timing down to 38 degrees or there abouts.
fast lap of 9.1 over all 37 laps at 6.00.96 checked up quite a bit this run for traffic, overall time not a good marker. temped at 172 without a fan, looking at temps would say gearing and timing can still be tweaked for heat but very much in the ball park, adding a fan will drop temps and it will be money,
thinking about getting one, you will not be disappointed.
