Ha I haven't seen my pic of lipo mounted in for a while

To that battery brace - I used hacksaw if I remember right to shorten it. You also need to open up hole on side and cut it on the other side as it's too wide.
If you can find some foam pad or something like that to prevent battery sliding on chassis - deffo tape it on chassis - my battery did tend to move towards motor. I didn't have any issues while I ran it but to be on safe side I recommend it.

I did only one race with car as you see in pics, then I switched to Cat, but my dad continued running it and it was good as you see it for whole season without any issues.

Those were the first LRP 28C 5300mAH Lipos. That's what I used at time. anyway those bumps on bottom fouled with middle where battery strap is retained. Had to do some sanding.
