As much as I wanted to hate my JS race prep, it kept on ticking. Bad news was the air filter and exhaust came loose on the qualifing of the first race weekend. It lost pinch and developed a good bit of play in the connecting rod after that. Engine still had good power and some compression, piston had a chip and some scarring on the sleeve. Kept racing the motor through the first gallon then got it pinched and raced another through it, but the play in the connecting was getting exessive and I finally started lossing power so I pulled the engine apart. Through its rough, short life my engine held good power, easy to tune, held tune, got 9-10 mins a tank, and NEVER FLAMED ONCE. Definatly gonna rebuild and hold onto it as a back up while I try this Werks.
