Actually it is the opposite. The theory is this:
With a standard diff you fill it with "non adjustable" diff oil. Hence you must compromise between off power turn in and on power steering. Stiffer diff oil gives less off power turn in and more on power steering.
The Negative diff can be filled with a very light diff oil and thus have very good off power turn in. But then when you get on the gas and the diff locks up (BTW it NEVER locks up like a solid diff the clutch shoes dont grab that hard) and the on power steering is also improved.
Does it work? Well yes. I was a little doubtful myself but it really is a very good device.
