My son's TC3 keeps breaking the front CVD bones. They are the black plastic type. We inherited some spares with the used chassis when we bought it. Mine has the FT aluminum ones on it. No problems there.

Question is, did Associated make the CVD bones out of the super brittle graphite stuff too for a while? I know when we were running RC10T4's that the graphite parts, although lighter, seemed to break much easier. A-arms and such. I'm wondering if that's what we have is those brittle graphite ones?

I'm going to buy some more replacements but I only see one choice of std black plastic now, or the blue aluminum ones.

If I buy the aluminum CVD bones, do I also need to have the aluminum outdrives? Or can you mix and match?
