Geez inferno, lucky your not dead on two counts - the fumes and the missus
You need to work on a piped outlet through the wall with one of those shower box steam removal fans in the pipeline - that would work a treat. Then you would only have to worry about the neighbours thinking your house was on fire
Perhaps just waiting until your spring might be a better solution - but frustrating I know
