Sure, but first, if you want to keep reverse, you may want to do a little more digging into the trans to check if the flyouts on the output shaft gears are fully retracting on their own. If the truck is stopped and the spur gear isn't turning, and the truck still won't shift into or out of reverse, that may be the problem. The flyouts have to move very freely and have just enough spring tension as to retract when the output shaft is not being spun.




the 2nd pick shows the adjustment screw. There's a spring in between that screw and the flyout itself.

You'll also want to check the bearings on those gears while you're at it.
