Yeah it is a reverse one, because it did work, and stil kinda does (however I actually have to kill thee engine, change it, then start it again, which defeats the purpose). Yes, It's actually quite easy once you have the trans in hand, to get the trans out is easy too as you know. You just simply open it up and follow the instructions that come with the gear in the bag.
It's nice to get rid of all that clutter (gears) along with the servo ETC ETC. The trans runs smoother too. Not to mention, you will be making it a bit lighter.
