I have an ultima SC-R and with my 17.5 I'm able to keep up with the much lower turn motors at my track. Mine is probably one of the most locked in at the track and I think the SC-R is very easy to work on compared some of the SC-10s and Slashes I've worked on.
I have only seen one or two TQ trucks, and they ran pretty well. I don't think you can go wrong either way, but parts are rare for either of the trucks your considering, so you may want to consider what parts you can get easiest.
