lean it out a little, dont be scared to get it over 230. ours runs around 235 ... running an engine rich is actually hurting it, stretches the rod and all. you always want it in the tuning window, not rich and not lean to make your engine last longer. the biggest thing is do not worry about temp, same brands of engines will run at different temps. for example me and a friend bought the same engine at the same time from the same place and used the same break in method, his engine ran at 250 and mine ran at 280-290, this is an Alpha engine though.

well all im trying to same is dont worry about temp so much, you'll be much happier and it will last longer if you dont run it rich. but dont run it lean either.
