I know everyone is concerned about this track grooveing up....well with beeing a former track owner....the only way your going to get a groove set is to run on it water it and run some more. When Shawn and I were out there a couple weeks ago we did notice some spots grooving up so it is going to but we got to be on it running it in...along with that the work Keith puts in on keeping it swept off will aid in the setting of the track also...Now for myself I have seen some questions about tires...when I was last on it I ran M3 Bow Ties and I actaully had really good traction and the track was a little damp...I am thinking something along that line or maybe a Bow Fighter combo or something close to it will get you going til the track sets...
Just race on the track.... groove doesn't make the track. It's all about the layout and fun racing. Our track never grooves, but the dirt is awesome and the layout is fun.
