Once you have an idea on how much money you want to spend then go to the LHS and physically hold the radios. Find the radio that is most comfortable for YOU. I personally use a DX3R. I found for me it was the most comfortable and has the functions I need for both electric and nitro. To me comfort is a must. Holding an uncomfortable radio for a 30+ minute main will really affect your driving...

I had set in my mind to get the DX3R, but when I held it next to the other radios. It did not fit my hand well. The m11 felt bulky/heavy to me. Would like to hold the Ko Propo (its ugly though). And I fell in love with the 4pk, and for crawling, 4 channels didn't hurt either.
I really don't think that you will go wrong with any of these, just pick the one that feels best, and practice, practice, practice!
