Proto Form 909 has been good for the past year. Mount 12 - 20mm in front of the bumper to suit your driving style. Based on the track also tall rear body support arms (you can use Kyoso or YBSlow aluminum).
I'm not making the change either, based on cost and I'm just starting to get comfortable with the car after being out of 1/8 scale for many years.
For parts, watch here and E-bay as I've picked up parts averaging around $2.50/pk so it helps on the budget as well.
